Course Level 1: Introduction to Computer Hardware and Basic Functions: - Understanding the basic parts of a computer (Monitor, keyboard, mouse) - Learning how to turn the computer on and off Course Level 2: Navigating the Desktop and Using a Mouse: - Introduction to the desktop interface, icons, and folders - Practicing basic mouse skills, such as clicking, double-clicking, and dragging Course Level 3: Keyboard Basics and Typing Skills: - Learning the layout of the keyboard and understanding the functions of basic keys - Introducing typing exercises to practice letter and word recognition Course Level 4: Introduction to Control (Ctrl) Keys: - Understanding the functions of Ctrl key shortcuts, such as Ctrl+C (copy), Ctrl+V (paste), and Ctrl+S (save) - Practicing simple Ctrl key combinations in basic activities Course Level 5: Introduction to Word Processing and Saving Documents: - Introducing a simple word processing program for creating and editing text - Teaching how to save and retrieve documents in a basic file structure Course Level 6: Exploring Basic Internet Safety and Browsing: - Understanding safe internet use and responsible online behavior - Introduction to simple web browsing activities and visiting child-friendly websites under supervision Course Level 7: Basic Digital Art and Creativity: - Using simple paint and drawing programs to create basic digital art - Practicing using drawing tools and colors while reinforcing Ctrl key shortcuts for simple commands Course Level 8: Recap and Practice: - Reviewing and practicing the skills learned throughout the year, including typing, Ctrl key usage, and saving documents
